Alumni have a number of job search resources available to them to help facilitate networking and simplify the job search process. Plus, alumni may connect with a career coach if they would like a deeper dive into the job search process.

Your Professional Network
Networking is absolutely necessary for any job search. Start by connecting to people in your areas of interest and ask for an informational interview or inquire about openings. Alumni can use the Wake Network or LinkedIn to find Wake Forest alumni to create connections.
Handshake
Handshake is a comprehensive online career resource for WFU alumni and your connection to all things career-related. Connect with more than 24,000 employers – including small, local businesses to large national and international organizations. Alumni can search for more job and internship opportunities than ever before with a personalized feed and custom recommendations.
How to Request Handshake Access:
- Create an @alumni.wfu.edu address if you haven’t already.
- Complete this form to request a Handshake account.
- A WFU staff member will contact you once your account is created and provide you with log-in instructions.
