Apply to the Wake Forest University Undergraduate Business Program

Wake Forest University undergraduate students apply to the Undergraduate Business Program in the fall semester of their sophomore year. The Undergraduate Business Program does not have a predetermined acceptance percentage, given that the number of applicants changes annually. There are a limited number of available seats in the Undergraduate Business Program. Given the high caliber of applicants, admission is highly competitive. Applicants are screened by the Undergraduate Business Admissions Committee. The four majors in the Undergraduate Business Program are Accounting (ACC), Business and Enterprise Management (BEM), Finance (FIN), and Mathematical Business (MBU).

Admission Requirements:

  • A completed application that includes essay responses.

  • Completion of Calculus with Analytic Geometry I (MTH 111) or Calculus with Analytic Geometry II (MTH 112) with a letter grade of “C” or better.
    • Please note that AP credit may fulfill the Calculus with Analytic Geometry I (MTH 111) or the Calculus with Analytic Geometry II (MTH 112) course requirement.
    • Please also note that Calculus with Analytic Geometry II (MTH 112) must be taken by MBU majors.
  • Completion of Introduction to Financial Accounting (ACC 111) at Wake Forest University with a letter grade of “C” or better.
