Volunteer
Consider the following ways in which you can give back to the School of Business while also making new connections and continuing to grow your Wake Forest network.
- Raise Your Hand to Volunteer
- Host a Happy Hour
- Be Featured During Cultural Awareness Months
- Participate in WAKECommunities
Raise Your Hand to Volunteer
Throughout the year, we are in need of alumni volunteers to speak to a class, conduct mock interviews, test out pilot programs, participate on panels (virtual and in-person), and connect with current students. If you are interested in being considered for these opportunities, please complete this form to “raise your hand” and we will add you to our short list! We email alumni on our short list often to fill volunteer roles.
Host a Happy Hour in Your City
Help us reach alumni across the country by hosting an event in your city. As host, you help us secure a venue and we’ll help promote it – plus, we will mail you School of Business swag to distribute! Let us know you’re interested by emailing sbalumni@wfu.edu.
Be Featured During Cultural Awareness Months
The School of Business is committed to celebrating the diversity of our community, and it is powerful for our current students to see faces and stories of alumni with whom they may identify. Featured alumni will be displayed on our digital boards throughout Farrell Hall and the Charlotte Center during the following Cultural Awareness Months:
- LatinX Heritage Month (September – October)
- LGBTQ History Month (October)
- Black History Month (February)
- National Women’s History Month (March)
- Asian Heritage Month (April)
Interested alumni should complete this form and share a high resolution photo of yourself or contact Amanda Horton, Director of Integrative Student Services, for more information.
Participate in WAKECommunities Near You
WAKECommunities are made up of alumni, parents and friends interested in connecting with each other and the University for various volunteer, social and networking opportunities. WAKECommunities exist by city or region – refer to this list for the closest community near you. By reflecting the best of the Wake Forest experience – the friendliness of social interaction, the stimulation of intellectual discussion, the excitement of athletic competition, the satisfaction of service to others – WAKECommunities programs remind all who attend of the special qualities that enriched their Wake Forest experience.
