Welcome New Students

Welcome to the Wake Forest community! We are excited to work with you to ensure that the Masters in Management program is a challenging and rewarding experience.

In this section of the website, you will find pertinent information and materials to prepare you for the upcoming school year. Please read all pages thoroughly and carefully. Additionally, after you activate your WFU email account, we strongly encourage you to check it regularly for University and School related action items and information.

NEXT STEPS

As a first step, make sure you submit your enrollment deposit to officially accept our offer of admission. Next, we recommend you review the information and action items below to help facilitate your transition to Wake Forest.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW

  1. Late June: Pre-Recorded Orientation Sessions and informal check-ins with staff and students begin
  2. July 10-11, 2025: New Student Orientation (See Orientation)
  3. July 14, 2025: First day of class
  4. Note: A full class schedule and book list will be provided to you in June.

COMPLETE WHEN YOU ACCEPT OUR OFFER OF ENROLLMENT

  1. Submit your non-refundable enrollment deposit (refer to your admission letter). (See Enrollment Deposit)
  2. Complete the FAFSA to begin the financial aid process. (See Financial Aid)

COMPLETE AFTER YOUR ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT

  1. Activate your WFU account and enable Google 2-Step Verification within 10 days of receiving the account activation email you should expect within a few days of making your enrollment deposit. (See Computing).
  2. Log in to Workday with your WFU account to begin the formal University required onboarding processes. Review the Onboarding Job Aid for more detailed instructions and refer to the Workday Student Support page for other important resources.
  3. International Students Only: Watch for instructions on I-20 documentation to your WFU account a week after WFU email activation.
  4. Join the Class of 2025 LinkedIn group. (See Join Social Groups)
  5. Secure local housing. (See Housing)
  6. Pay tuition for the Summer semester, which is due June 1 or immediately upon payment of deposit if admitted after June 1. (See Student Financial Services)

COMPLETE AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO ON-CAMPUS ORIENTATION

  1. Submit your final, official transcript that indicates you have earned your degree(s). (See Final Transcript)
  2. Complete the Student Orientation Survey (coming soon) so that we can order the correct name plates and tee-shirt sizes before your arrival.
  3. Secure health insurance, required immunizations and complete the WFU Health and Immunization form. (See Health & Immunization)
  4. If you plan to park on campus during the summer or fall sessions, you will need to purchase a parking permit.  (See Parking)
  5. Consider an elective tuition insurance plan that could help minimize financial loss from an unexpected withdrawal due to sickness or injury. Must apply before first day of classes.
